Type consonants at the start of syllables: g→ㄱ, n→ㄴ, d→ㄷ, r/l→ㄹ, m→ㅁ, b→ㅂ, s→ㅅ, j→ㅈ, ch→ㅊ, h→ㅎ. Double consonants: kk→ㄲ, tt→ㄸ, pp→ㅃ, ss→ㅆ, jj→ㅉ.
Type vowels: a→ㅏ, eo→ㅓ, o→ㅗ, u→ㅜ, eu→ㅡ, i→ㅣ. Compound vowels: ae→ㅐ, e→ㅔ, ya→ㅑ, yeo→ㅕ, yo→ㅛ, yu→ㅠ, wa→ㅘ, wae→ㅙ, wi→ㅟ, oe→ㅚ.
Consonants at the end of syllables are detected automatically. Type 'gam' and the 'm' becomes the final consonant: 감. Compound finals like 'lk' (ㄺ) and 'ng' (ㅇ) are also supported.
The system automatically detects when one syllable ends and another begins. For example, 'hangugeo' becomes 한국어 (three syllables: han-gug-eo).

Use uppercase K, T, P for aspirated consonants (ㅋ, ㅌ, ㅍ) which have a strong 'h' sound. Use lowercase g, d, b for regular consonants.
The vowel ㅓ (eo) sounds like 'uh' in 'young' or 'u' in 'but'. It's one of the most common Korean sounds. Example: 'seo' in 서울 (Seoul).
Double consonants (ㄲ, ㄸ, ㅃ, ㅆ, ㅉ) are tense and sharp. Type 'kk', 'tt', 'pp', 'ss', 'jj'. Example: 'oppa' → 오빠, 'eomma' → 엄마.
When a syllable starts with a vowel, ㅇ is silent. Just type the vowel directly: 'a' → 아, 'i' → 이, 'o' → 오.
For words ending in 'ng' sound, type 'ng' at the end: 'bang' → 방, 'yeong' → 영, 'sarang' → 사랑.
